Booker offers:

  • a simple, visual layout
  • easy searching by date, type of room, and location
  • customisable options for room managers.

The team that developed Booker conducted extensive research across the University into user needs and incorporated staff feedback at all stages of the design process. The service team and the developers also meet regularly with current users and respond to their feedback.

Booker is available to all institutions across the University of Cambridge, both academic and non-academic. Institutions currently using the system include the Faculty of Law, Kettle's Yard, and University Information Services. Feedback received includes: "it's really easy to use", "it helps you to know more about the rooms than you did before", "the Booker team is really helpful" and "the migration was a smooth process."
